Dedicated to the 25th London Cyclists, a much forgotten regiment. The 1/25th battalion’s WW1 service was undertaken in India and the North West Frontier. In 1917 they participated in the Waziristan Campaign.  In 1919 they helped quell the Amritsar uprising, and participated in the 3rd Afghan War. In 1917, 200 of the 1/25th left India and fought in Mesopotamia. Most of the Battalion did not return to the UK until Dec 1919. All without their beloved bicycles.

Also includes the 2/25th & 3/25th, of which some soldiers stayed in Britain whilst others were transferred or attached to other regiments including the 10th London Bn., which served in France.
